slimboyfat, your theories and conclusions that you wrote 4 years ago in the link you provided was mostly, if not unanimously disagreed with. I am sure if any read it again the results will be the same. Just because you believe it and write it down does not mean it is correct. I think you are 100% wrong with that information, and most on this thread disagree with you AGAIN. With the internet, now a person doesn't have to go out and look for apostates or information on them, it is at everyone's fingertips. The doubting and curious have a far easier time finding this information than they had before. The more the wt tells it's drones not to use the internet, the more they will start looking.

so looking at the worldwide report , the baptisms are down , many countries are 0 growth ,publishers, hours , and studies up because of changes in reporting methods .

but just how long can the propping up of numbers happen for , before the real downward slide starts ?

a year or two tops , which will be real close to 2014 .

.....they could print articles explaining all this as some great 'sifting' that leaves only Jehovah's true Witnesses remaining right before Armaggedon.

I guess they will just forget that Jah is supposed to speed up the work (new ones coming in) before the time of the end to save as many as possible.

another idea came to me tonight while discussing the pew forum survey about how only 37% of jehovah's witnesses remain in the religion from childhood.

the recent watchtower article where it says the majority of people who leave the religion do so in order to commit sin was brought up predictably.

i believe there are now over 7 million jws worldwide(correct me if i am wrong).

what makes this growth possible despite all the exposure on the internet and other media?.

not forgetting court cases and lawsuits.. is this not a sign that perhaps this is the true religion?.

The numbers are completely compiled by them, and you know how they like to pad their numbers to make themselves look good. If I remember correctly, they were claiming 7 million when I was still in, maybe as far back as 95 or 96? Looks to me more stagnant rather than increasing.

AK Jeff, you are like me, needing to see something real that benefits us. The Egyptians and many other cultures worshipped the elements such as sun, moon, rain, ect because, as you pointed out, these are the things that keep life and civilization going. We are reliant on them. Maybe they had something way back then?
